BlackBerry Bold Skin Case

"Elvin Stelzer" (2019-12-20)

Fat Princess arrived on the scene in July of last year, and, if you're familiar with it all, you'll know it caused a minor ruckus, with several lady gamers getting their hackles up over the game's supposed anti-feminist and fat-hating subtexts. In reality, it's a game that has clearly been made with a great deal of care and attention to detail; it lays no judgements on the princesses because of their size, and the presence of female soldiers among the troops and players (plus the fact that the princesses WANT to eat cake) renders the "men making women helpless" argument invalid. All you need to know about the whole debacle is this: Fat Princess is a blast, and we'll be over here having fun.

What we like best about Advanced Mobile Care for Android is its clean and simple interface, which revolves around its one-tap scanning process. Open up the app and you'll see what I'm talking about: A giant Scan button sits front and center, with a slim menu bar of additional tools at the bottom. Hit the Scan button, and in a few seconds you'll be treated to a detailed, yet simple readout of system issues that potentially compromise your mobile device's performance. The readout shows you a running count of any malware it detects, open tasks, cached items, and junk files. With another click, you can quickly banish these. In one of our tests, the application detected more than 3,000 junk files on our devices and was able to clear out quite a bit of storage space. Keeping the app installed will provide ongoing protection and a notification if any malware makes its way onto your system.

Now that you've invested your hard-earned money into the RIM BlackBerry Bold, you'll want to do everything to protect it. The BlackBerry Bold Skin Case offers a rubberized casing that provides a better grip and helps prevent major damage from any tumbles. There are also openings for the camera lens and all the ports. You have a choice of five colors (black, white, red, blue, and gray) and each costs $9.95.

In general, if you're fond of wooden phone accessories but don't want something as clunky as a full case, Carved's skins may be what you're looking for. Plain units without any carved design are reasonably priced at $19, but the more intricate ones have higher prices (the puzzle design, which I find incredibly ugly, will cost you $34, for example). The company also makes skins for the iPad, Kindle, and Kindle Fire as well, but personally, I find the aesthetic looks best on a smaller scale.

id="cnetReview" section="rvwBody" data-component="indepthReview"> If you didn't know by now, I'm a sucker for organic, especially wooden, phone skins and cases. Though the last case I reviewed was sort of a bust, this time I'm pleased to see a product that doesn't break down at the slightest touch.

Camera drones like the DJI Mavic might be able to fly fast, but they're loaded with sensors and GPS to keep them stable in the air, avoid crashes and allow them to take off and land on their own or automatically return to you if you get into a sticky situation. (You can even find some toy models with these capabilities.) You'll find no such features on most racing drones because they're built for speed and agility so you're mainly flying manually. That's fine if you know what you're doing, but it sucks for learning.

The skins are thin and lightweight -- together, both front and fat loss meal plan back plates weigh a third of an ounce. Though they're durable and splashproof, they're not indestructible. While the unibody skins have no seams, and therefore stay in one piece better, some of Carved's products are designed with several pieces of wood. (Its puzzle skin, for example, is customizable with up to seven different types of wood: bamboo, padauk, purpleheart, sycamore, olive ash, paldao, and redwood burl). Understandably, when I bent and twisted these skins, the seams would slightly give way. But once applied to a steady flat surface, pieces fit together well.

Play With Others allows you to play with up to seven other Real Live Humans (eight players total) in multiplayer campaigns. And Twiddly Knobs is where you get in and, well, twiddle. You can customise your avatar (there are even girl choices!), fiddle with your game settings and look at the tutorial. Actually, the game will ask you if you would like to look at the tutorial before you start playing, and it's not a bad idea: although the game's premise seems simple enough, there are lots of details to take in. In fact, there is a bit of a learning curve, and you might find yourself having to look at the manual or a walkthrough. The tutorial itself is rather long and would have worked better in-game as you go, since most people learn more quickly by performing actions than reading instructions.
